The Faculty was set up by virtue of decree 87-5 and law 87-62 dated September 13, 1987


Mission

The Faculty’s mission is to train students in following course of study:
• Mathematics- Computer sciences
• Physics
• Industrial chemistry
• Material physics and applications
• Food industry techniques and biotechnology
• Earth and life sciences

Since 2000, the Faculty has been also in charge of training senior technicians in professional- oriented courses of study. The access to such courses is reserved to students holding a baccalaureate degree majoring in mathematics, techniques and experimental sciences.
