Water context






Water is an integral part of any country’s culture as it influences the history of Men and their moves looking for it. The relationship between water and Men is more particularly close in Tunisia where this natural resource is described in details in various documents recounting the main events throughout historical eras :Aqueduc romain et canal Medjerda Capbon

Carthagians, Romans, Arabs and all other people who had brought their knowledge to improve the means and tools used to retain, distribute and transfer water.

Within this context, some publications, which are part of the proceedings of the seminar on «Men and water control in Tunisia » held in 1992 by the City of Sciences on the occasion of the start of the strategy of resources development, are mentioned below.
