• Water techniques :tanks for drinking water, used water and irrigation water, water processing and purification, pumps and pumping stations…
• Knowing about the natural environment : geomorphology, geology, pedology, agronomy…
• Agricultural hydraulics: irrigation, soil draining and salinity, quality of irrigation water…
• Developing catchment basins : water and soil conservation, forestry and pastoral development, fight against the silting up of soils …

Majoring in Agricultural equipment
• Agricultural equipment : railroad vehicules, tractors, towed vehicules, towing equipment, ground works, sowing works, fertilization works, crop care, crop works, maintenance…
• Engine and parts mechanics : the engine, couplings, transmission devices, steering systems, braking and suspension systems, fuels and lubricants, automobile electricity…
• Equipment upkeep and maintenance: identifying and diagnosing breakdowns, milling equipment, upkeep of agricultural machines…
• Management of agricultural equipment : management of fleets, management of equipment use…

Technician studies
Two courses of studies are provided :
• Rural engineering
• Agricultural equipment
The curriculum is similar to the one provided for engineering studies but it is implemented in a more practical way including field visits, professional trainings…

On-the-job training
The School of Medjez El Bab organizes on-the-job training sessions for senior technicians who have the same concerns as ESIER’s engineers.
