Institution of Agricultural Research and Higher Education
(IRESA)

The Institution of Agricultural Research and Higher Education is in charge of :

• The scientific and pedagogic coordination among agricultural higher education schools.
• Carrying out studies on the promotion of training activities.
• Implementing required reforms relating to agricultural higher education curriculum and methodologies.
• Following up and assessing methods and programs adopted by the various agricultural higher education institutions.

Training modules are as follows :

Initial training :
This type of training is meant for engineers, veterinaries and technicians. Post graduate studies are provided for researchers and teachers.

On-the-job training :
On-the-job training sessions are held for the employees of the Ministry of agriculture and other related bodies, other Ministries ( Ministry of industry, Ministry of commerce, Ministry of Scientific Research and Capacity building ….) as well as the private sector.

Training abroad:
The Institution of Agricultural Research and Higher Education is doing its best to provide teachers and researchers with opportunities to benefit from training sessions abroad on agricultural priority topics.
Higher education agricultural schools in the field of water are :

•The National Agronomy Institute (INAT)
•The Rural Equipment Engineering School - Medjez El-Bab (ESIER)
