Introduction :
The laboratory’s activities are based on three main axes:
Managing water resources using the control and modeling of the water
cycle.
Developing modeling tools for surface, mainland and coastal hydrosystems
and environmental systems.
Studying transfer processes in mono- and multiphase flows and their
application to industrial systems.
The laboratory includes: 8 Ph.D graduates, 10 holders of Master degrees
and 18 Post-graduate researchers (Doctoral degree + Research thesis).

In 1999 three Ph.D research studies and four Masters thesis
were defended including one co-staffed between the Catholic University
Louvain and ENIT, in addition to three post-graduate research projects.
The laboratory’s socio-economic positioning :
