Laboratory of Hydraulic and environmental modeling

Introduction :
The laboratory’s activities are based on three main axes:
Managing water resources using the control and modeling of the water cycle.
Developing modeling tools for surface, mainland and coastal hydrosystems and environmental systems.
Studying transfer processes in mono- and multiphase flows and their application to industrial systems.
The laboratory includes: 8 Ph.D graduates, 10 holders of Master degrees and 18 Post-graduate researchers (Doctoral degree + Research thesis).

Certificates :
In 1999 three Ph.D research studies and four Masters thesis were defended including one co-staffed between the Catholic University Louvain and ENIT, in addition to three post-graduate research projects.

The laboratory’s socio-economic positioning :
Within the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Hydraulic Resources : DGRE, DCES, DS, EGTH, SONEDE, SECADENORD, CITET, ONAS, ANPE , APAL, DGE.
Within the Ministry of Equipment and Territory Planning: DGSAM, DHU, SPLT.
Research institutions : IRD and INRST.

International cooperation :
INRS-eau, National Polytechnic School of Montreal in Canada
IMFT, Grande Ecole of Mining Studies, ENGREF, in France.
IWS in Germany.
EMI and Hassania in Morocco.

Publications : Since 1940, 40 publications in magazines and symposiums.
